Philippa Stevenson, freelance journalistPhilippa Stevenson is a freelance journalist and columnist based in New Zealand specialising in reporting primary industries, science and the environment.

She is currently editor of the Dig 'n' Stir blog on the Rural Network and moderator of the Tamahere Forum.

Her column, Stevenson's Country, reflecting social issues, events and a slice of every day New Zealand life ran in the New Zealand Herald for 2½ years.

A winner of 16 journalism awards, she has been agricultural editor of the New Zealand Herald, the Waikato Times, editor of two rural newspapers, a reporter for National Radio and hosted Farming Edition on Coast to Coast Television.
